Add a Unique Touch

Hey Bridal Babes!

Your wedding is a celebration of love which is why we take such care in planning wedding, from unique decor ideas to personalized experiences. Today we'll explore some of the unique concepts that are captivating couples and guests alike.

Mismatched Bridesmaids Dresses

One fun and funky trend we have seen is mismatched bridesmaids dresses.  By mismatched we mean different prints, style, and sometimes color. This gives bridesmaids `an opportunity to buy a dress that you're both comfortable with and they can hopefully wear again in the future. This trend could be beautifully executed at a garden party style wedding using gorgeous pinks, blues, and greens

Flower  Pocket Square

One of our favorite new trends for your groom that we’ve seen is a flower pocket square instead of the traditional boutonnière and  handkerchief. It's a beautiful modern twist that can help elevate your wedding looks. For Those who want more earthy vibes there is also the option to substitute the flowers for succulents.

Wildflower Embroidered Veil

For the more free spirited bride a wildflower veil. Paired with a beautiful boho wedding gown we feel this style veil can really help give you an elevated yet still simple bridal look. These veils can usually be found through independent small business owners or if you know how to embroider you can even make your own.

DIY Pressed Flower Candles

One fun diy trend for your table decor are pressed flower candles. The easiest way to complete this diy is to buy candle sticks, dried flowers, a paintbrush, and a few extra candles to melt to adhere the flowers to the centerpiece candles. This can help give your table decor a more whimsical touch. Adding these candles to a candle stick holder or even creating your own by drilling some holes in a nice piece of wood will complete the look for your cute whimsy decor.

Guest Book Alternative

One of our favorite guest book alternatives for your special day is a scrapbook sign in and photo. For this we suggest getting a polaroid camera or a portable polaroid picture printer, a scrapbook, and plenty of supplies such as adhesives for the photos and pens  for your guests to sign in. An even better way your guests can help you personalize this is by adding a sweet and positive message with their picture.

Custom Newspaper Itinerary

A fun way to upgrade your wedding itinerary is to create a custom newspaper with your partner. While keeping the basics of an ordinary itinerary this lets you put all of your event details in one place as well as gives you an opportunity to show off those stunning engagement photos. You can even add extra details like the story of how you met, timeline photos of your relationship, even a cute crossword related to your relationship.

Memorial Table for Lost Loved Ones

We have all lost someone important to us so why not find a way to honor and include them in your special day. A good way to do this is to either reserved seats for them with a picture during the ceremony or a memorial table for the reception you definitely don't have to choose between the two, do what's best for you and what you feel best honors your lost one(s). Another way to honor them is to play their favorite song during your reception or others have taken a moment of silence to honor them

By incorporating these trends, you can add a contemporary flair to your special day, ensuring it's an occasion that will be remembered for years to come. Remember, at the heart of every wedding trend lies the essence of love and commitment. So, whether you choose to follow the latest trends or create your own, the most important thing is to make your wedding a true reflection of your unique love story.

Happy planning!
